We are excited to announce our open day next Friday (29th April, 2-4pm) to launch Whitehall Chambers, our new office complex providing cutting-edge eco-friendly workspaces for businesses in the region.
Situated in the heart of Hipperholme, the seven office units, ranging from approximately 180 sq ft to 240 sq ft, are situated above Ploughcroft’s head office, and feature the eco-expert’s full repertoire of green construction techniques, offering fresh, modern and spacious environments to work in.
The former council offices, built in 1890, originally had an energy rating of “G”. However, thanks to Ploughcroft’s advanced green construction techniques, they have gained what is thought to be the country’s biggest-ever jump in energy efficiency to an “A” rating.
Featuring a cutting edge Eco-Roof™, the interior has been ‘cocooned’ with top-of-the-range recycled insulation products including bottles and aluminium, as well as polyurethane, and even lamb’s wool. As such the units are ideal for any business wanting to operate in an environmentally responsible way and make a positive statement to its customers.
Available on a fully furnished, all-inclusive basis, the green office units also come with shower facilities, to encourage workers to commute to work, while the high grade internal finish also includes kitchen facilities, printing and mailing services, and energy efficient lighting with PIR motion detectors in communal areas to further reduce electricity usage. A communal board room is also available to book for all tenants.
The office development forms part of Ploughcroft’s campaign to spread the “eco-word” to politicians in Whitehall.
