These homes in the area of Chapel Allerton in North Leeds had over the years fallen into a poor state of repair. However, the historical value inbuilt into the masonry walls of the homes had been left unharmed.
So it was great news when we were invited by one of the homeowners to restore the exterior of the house to the original historical values and features which included a copper gutter and fall pipes, conservation Velux windows and new lead bay roof.
We then finished off with our futuristic Eco-roof on the roof structure, where we sympathetically installed our insulating thermal blanket across the existing house rafter. This will greatly improve the home’s thermal performance and make the house warm and cosy during the colder months.
