This 200-year-old detached property in Marsden, Huddersfield was in need of modernisation re-roof and renovation. The property had a leaking roof, was extremely cold due to lack of insulation and was suffering from dry rot.
As well as the external works, the property owner wanted to upgrade the interior to create a dry, warm, cosy living space with lots of oak / rustic features to complement the style of the property.
Renovation works included: Re-roof, re-pointing works to the chimney and new coping stones; Insulation to current standards; Re-wiring, new RSJs and plastering throughout; Removal of dry rot; New oak floor throughout and new oak doors; Re-flagging of the external area.
‘A job very well-done and one that we’re grateful of finishing on time.’
