Located on the banks of the river Mersey in the North West of England you can find the idyllic market town of Warrington. There are over 300,000 inhabitants in Warrington and there is almost a perfect balance between males and females, 49% to 51% respectively. It was founded by the Romans and acted as a crucial crossing point over the River Mersey until later on it was restructured by Germanic settlers who turned Warrington into a market town for travelers.

Warrington is a very lively place and the wide variety of annual festivals and carnivals here demonstrate that perfectly. The festivals are enjoyed by both the young and the old residents and there is something for everyone. Some festivals include the Newton-le-Willows Music and Lymm Dickensian Festivals and the Westy Carnivals. One of the main venues for all these live events is Parr Hall and acts such as live music, dance and drama performances can be enjoyed here.
